Balaster VaseChinese polychrome ware, meticulously potted in a bold balaster style vase with an exaggerated trumpet shaped neck. Ornamented in a motif of vases with flowering chrysanthemums and budding peonies draped with scrolling foliage. Bowls of eggs and fruit, all displayed on oriental style pedestals.
Decorated in underglaze blue, with a rich celadon green overglaze ground and a plain white interior. Created late 19th /early 20th century.
